TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Aim : Determination of coefficient of discharged (Cd) & coefficient of velocity (CV) & coefficient of contraction (Cc) for orifice. Supply tank – 1) An arrangement to obtain a steady or quiescent flow. 2) An arrangement to vary the head by changing the position of over flow pipe. 3) Piezometer tube to measure head. 4) An arrangement to measure co-ordinate of jet. Storage Tank made up of 18 SWG M.S. sheet with 1.5mm FRP polymer internally to resist corrosion & externally powder coated with a capacity of 140 Lit. Monoblock Pump single Phase ½ HP, Orifice : 10mm. – 1 No. Mouthpiece – 10mm. – 1 No. X-Y Co-ordinate to find vena-contracta.
